Dominique Garcia grew up with a love for radio, but never imagined he would ever be a part of it. After taking an audio engineering course in 2000, he decided to try and hit up the radio stations to see if he could land a job. It worked. Since then, he have worked for such San Antonio stations as KTSA (550), XHTO “104.3 Hit FM,” KNDA “102.9 Da Bomb,” and KXXM “Mix 96.1.” Currently he works for KTFM. Over the course of his tenure in radio, he’s held many jobs—from the most insignificant to a full-fledged full-time on air slot. He considers himself a student of radio and wants to know every role from the program director all the way to the engineer. He says, “I humbly admit I do not know everything when it comes to radio and I will never claim that I do. However, I do know quite a bit about the industry and am ecstatic to share my knowledge and personal opinions with you.”
