About Phyllis
Veteran entertainment journalist Phyllis Stark is Executive Editor of Country Music at Radio-Info.com and author of the company's twice-weekly Stark Country newsletter. She is also a freelance writer whose work appears regularly on MSN and numerous other publications and sites. She authors MSN's music blog, One Country.
Phyllis has been reporting extensively on the radio and music industries for more than two decades. She spent 17 years at Billboard Information Group, where she served in various capacities including senior radio editor, managing editor, and Nashville bureau chief for the weekly magazines Billboard and Billboard Radio Monitor, and their Web sites. More recently, Phyllis spent two years (2007-2009) as VP of A&R at independent record label Robbins Nashville, and ran the New York-based company’s Nashville operations.
