Turn It Up! American Radio Tales 1946 – 1996
By Bob Shannon
Austrianmonk Publishing
Subject: Radio History
Author and radio historian Bob Shannon has a new book available: “Turn It Up! American Radio Tales 1946 – 1996” spotlights and interviews broadcasters from A-Z, from Lee Abrams to Wolfman Jack. “In between,” says Shannon, “the chapters tell a total of 58 stories that paint a picture of time gone by, when radio was important, disc jockeys were stars, and their listeners cared about them.”
“Factual, warm, affectionate and respectful,” wrote Alan Freed’s son, Lance. “I know he would have been pleased with what you wrote. Bravo to you, and kudos from his son.”

I'm wondering if they realize two things: 1 - The audio they have on their site is not really a "podcast" - there's no way to subscribe to it in iTunes and have them automatically download when they become available. 2 - That their info@americanradiotales.com email address is not valid - it keeps bouncing back saying "no such address" when I email them to tell them #1 above! Can someone pass that info on to them - since there's uh...no working email address to get to them? --*Rob
