2011 Radio Show draws 2,206 registered attendees, up 24%
The Chicago Radio Show that concludes at the Radio Luncheon Friday (9/16) attracted considerably more people than last year's Radio Show in Washington, DC. That show was the first time the Radio Advertising Bureau and the National Association of Broadcasters had combined their annual conventions. This year there was more time for joint planning, and the midwest location of Chicago may have helped: more potential attendees could make a last-minute decision to drive there.
The RAB and NAB confirm the dates and city for next year, and for the first time announce the actual venue. The 2012 Radio Show will convene at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, September 19-21.
