40-year radio journalist Mike Pulsipher passes away
Mike Pulsipher was not only a great storyteller, but also someone who enjoyed sharing the news of the day. Prior to his retirement in 2007 for health reasons, Pulsipher anchored news for KNX-AM (1070) in Los Angeles, KFBK-AM (1530) in Sacramento, for CBS Radio News in New York, and had two tours of duty with San Francisco’s KCBS-AM (740). KCBS reports Pulsipher “was discovered at the bottom of a staircase on Friday, and it’s not clear if he died in the fall or may have suffered a heart attack.” He was 61.
