73-year old Nashville radio host snared in prostitution sting
His website lists his long history, which started on high school radio in 1953, and led him to television, hosting the Noon Show on Channel 4. He also emceed “Teddy Bart’s Roundtable” on several different radio stations such as WWTN (99.7), and later some local TV and cable outlets. The show also aired on his own radio station, WKDA (1240), and part of the time it was also simulcast statewide on cable and on local public TV. The latest chapter in Teddy’s storied career now includes his arrest. Bart was busted, along with eight other men, according to the Tennessean newspaper, for agreeing to pay a female undercover officer for sexual activity during an Internet sting set up at a local hotel. The 73-year old Bart’s picture can be seen here on the Nashville Police “Patronizing Prostitution Arrests” website. Bart’s website says he has a book being released later this month called “A Particle of God.”
