A DJ is arrested for burglary – of a competing DJ's house
Jay Knight, morning show co-host of Sacramento, California's hip-hop KSFM-FM (102.5), must have been extremely unhappy, to say the least, when his home was burglarized on November 4. A variety of electronics and other items were stolen while he was not there. However, when police obtained surveillance footage from a neighbor's camera system, what may have surprised Knight even more was the identity of the person who had broken in. Police arrested Justin Fostar, who is known to listeners as "DJ Freeze" on rival Top-40 KHHM-FM (103.5), charging him with burglary and grand theft. KOVR-TV reports Fostar and Knight were once friends, and the crime happened while Knight was on the air hosting his morning show. Fostar is being held in the Sacramento County Jail on $50,000 bail. His bio remains on the "Hot 103.5" website that you can read here. Knight's property was returned to him - Discuss it.
