A former Pennsylvania radio host heads to jail for mail fraud
Former WILK, Wilkes-Barre (980/103.1) financial talk host Jamie P. Lake will spend the next 45 months in jail. Lake, who bought time on WILK to broadcast his show “Money in Motion,” pleaded guilty to mail fraud and defrauding 33 customers through his financial services business, JPL Financial. Lake had faced up to 20 years in prison, but accepted a plea deal to spend nearly four years behind bars and pay a fine of nearly $580,000.
