A knife-wielding stalker is ordered to stay away from Ryan Seacrest
As Radio-Info reported on Friday, a man was arrested for the second time in a month for stalking radio/TV personality Ryan Seacrest. In the latest episode, Chidi Uzomah, Jr. was apprehended at the E! Entertainment Television headquarters in Los Angeles where Seacrest has his radio studio. Uzomah was in possession of a three-inch knife when security stopped him. He was held over the weekend by the LA Police Department on $150,000 bail. Last month, Uzomah was charged with attacking a member of Seacrest’s bodyguards, and was in possession of a knife. A judge ordered Uzomah to appear for a hearing on November 17, where Seacrest, who received a temporary restraining order, is expected to ask for a three-year order of protection. Seacrest filed a declaration in court, saying Uzomah’s “aggressive and violent efforts to come into physical contact with me are extremely frightening to me. They have jeopardized not only my personal safety, but also the safety and well-being of those around me.”
