A South African news anchor is fired for dropping the "F-bomb" 13 times

F-bomb A news anchor for Talk Radio 702 (92.7FM) in Johannesburg, South Africa was fired following an on-air tirade where he dropped the "F-word" 13 times. News anchor Mark Esterhuysen started to read his 1:00am newscast, but quickly went into a tirade. He also violated station rules by promoting his own blog, Twitter and Facebook pages. Esterhuysen said during his rant, "Good morning, I'm Mark Esterhuysen. F*** racism. F*** the pigs who killed Andries Tatane. F*** the AWB. F*** racism. We are all wild animals meant to live free. 'F*** capitalism. F*** fascism. F*** this f***ing wage slavery graveyard s-t. 'F*** domestication. F*** Malema. F*** the state. F*** the petrol economic growth on a finite planet." A station editor tells the Johannesburg Times Live, "We can't tolerate that kind of behavior. I don't think it's appropriate to use our platform, which is credible, to promote your own agenda." In his rant, Esterhuysen singled out police who were accused of murdering a citizen, a politician and the Afrikaner AWB, a far-right wing political party.
