ABC News Radio and Citadel Media offer "ABC Digital", for station websites
Steve Jones tells Radio-Info it is "easy to use, improves the relationship with the audience, and also generates revenue for the stations." ABC News Radio and Citadel Media describe it more fully this way: "A content service delivering customizable, format-specific news and music/entertainment feeds directly to radio station websites" - already up and running on many Citadel-owned stations. At San Francisco news/talker KGO (810) and talk KSFO (560), GM Deidra Lieberman says ABC Digital is "both cost-efficient and a significant time-saver for our team." The news categories include World, National, Politics, Business, Entertainment and Health/Lifestyle. Music stations can choose from offerings among a dozen different formats (country, classic rock, CHR, urban, etc.). Content is fed in RSS, Atom, RDF and other formats. ABC Digital can be locally branded and there are opportunities to monetize the content. It is available by barter.
