Adam Carolla's parting shot at L.A.'s KLSX: CBS is "doing some flipping" in New York too

And could it be another “Amp”, this time at 92.3? The Radio-Info NYC board observes that the same party who registered the “Amp” domain for Los Angeles also did one for New York. (That discussion’s going on here.) On Adam Carolla’s last morning show for talker KLSX-FM (97.1) before the station flipped to the new “AMP Radio” (5pm today), he told listeners he believed CBS Radio had let him down. He believed he had a deal to move his show to New York, only to find the offer was pulled off the table. He then let everyone know CBS was planning something soon for the New York market, saying, “they’re doing some flipping over there (New York), and I hope [the station’s people are] aware of it because I'm talking about it now.” Carolla also took a jab at the new “AMP”, saying, “All you’re going to hear on L.A. radio now is ranchera music and Top 40.” Carolla could be speculating about the Big Apple’s WXRK-FM (92.3). The alternative rock station and home of the Opie & Anthony morning show is toward the bottom of the ratings with a 1.5 share. The Radio-Info.com Boards are eagerly discussing it here:
