Adelante promotes Juan Gonzalez to Director of Group Programming/New Media
Juan Gonzalez, who was the PD of Sacramento's Spanish Top-40 KLMG-FM (97.9), has been promoted to Director of Group Programming and New Media by Adelante Media Group, effective immediately. Gonzalez, who is also the morning show host on the "Juan & Karli Morning Show," will now oversee all of Adelante's brands, which include Spanish Oldies, Latino and Mexican. Adelante COO Ed Krampf says, "There is just a great opportunity out there to be the best locally produced, and locally connected radio stations. We needed to find the right person who knows how to meld art with technology. Juan has built an amazing brand with Latino in Sacramento, and his vision and experience with using social media to help build his brand makes him the right choice for this position at this time. Having him lead our other brands now moves us to an entirely different level."
