An Australian radio star is banned from the internet
Melbourne 3AW radio host Derryn Hinch has been told by a judge that he is banned from using the internet or social media for the next five months. Hinch was sentenced to house arrest, after he violated a court order by naming two pedophiles in 2008. Hinch is a popular radio figure in Australia, and has over 15,000 followers on his Twitter stream. Another part of his sentence: He isnot allowed to conduct or be a part of interviews or speak using the internet during this time. AFP has more about Hinch's online ban here.
