Another baseball team may be switching flagship radio stations
Within 48 hours of the news that the Baltimore Orioles would be leaving CBS Radio-owned sports/talk WJZ-FM (105.7) for news WBAL-AM (1090), another team along the I-95 corridor may also switch frequencies. The Mid Atlantic Sports Network is reporting the Washington Nationals are "close to an agreement" to make CBS Radio-owned sports/talk WJFK-FM (106.7) their new flagship. If the change does happen, Bonneville's WFED (1500) will still broadcast Nationals games as an affiliate, but not as the flagship. It is also expected that the current radio team of Charlie Slowes & Dave Jaegeler will remain in the broadcast booth.
