Apple is censoring music
Tests by Mashable.com have confirmed that Apple Inc. has been censoring a number of rap songs using its iTunes Match service. They are replacing the explicit filled songs with cleaner versions. iTunes Match will match your song in your iTunes library with “cleaner” versions on Apple’s servers. Reports from CultofMac.com state that this occurrence does not seem to affect music that was bought off of iTunes itself. Apple Inc. has unofficially stated that they are working on a fix, but no official comment has been released.
