Apple's iOS Is Getting Music Unlimited
Music Unlimited has just announced that its music service will now be available for iOS devices. This cloud-based streaming service has a catalog of 15 million songs and is owned by Sony. An app is now available for Apple’s various iOS mobile devices, with one for the iPad coming this summer. Sony Network Entertainment President Tim Schaff points out that Music Unlimited has more than one million active subscribers and embraces a competitive strategy for the future. Schaff explains that “When we look at other players in the marketplace, we are in this for the long run. We can pursue consumers on a global basis." This cloud-based music service has just expanded to Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
