Arbitron's PPM was denied accreditation in New York and Philadelphia
That happened in January and is just now being released in Arbitron's latest SEC 10-K filing - that the Media Rating Council looked at all the evidence and refused to accredit the new electronic service in those two big markets. Currently, only Houston has won accreditation, though Arbitron is "re-auditing the methodologies" in Philadelphia and the Big Apple - and says it intends to keep to its schedule of going live in New York, L.A., Chicago and some associated markets in September, replacing the diary. Read the just-filed SEC report here.
