Atlanta's "790 The Zone" has a new midday sports team

WQXI

Atlanta’s WQXI has brought in two guys with a lot of football knowledge just in time for football season. Tony Barnhart and Wes Durham will pair up as the new midday team from 10am-1pm, starting Friday. Barnhart is a part of the CBS-TV “College Football Today” and hosts the “Tony Barnhart Show” on CBS College Sports South. He also writes the “Mr. College Football” blog for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Durham is the play-by-play announcer for the Atlanta Falcons, and also does play-by-play for Georgia Tech football. WQXI VP/GM Andrew Saltzman says, “Barnhart and Durham will provide sports fans uncanny knowledge, tremendous depth into the college and pro football landscape and the most high-profile guests in sports radio.” The duo replaces Brandon Walsh, who left radio to return to college and pursue his graduate degree.
