Austin news/talker KLBJ-AM adds an FM simulcast
The signal is an FM translator at 99.7 that Emmis previously used to simulcast its rhythmic “Hot 93.3” KDHT. Now the source has been switched to “News Radio 590 KLBJ”, whose lineup includes the local Mornings with Mark and Jeff Ward in afternoons, plus Rush Limbaugh, Neal Boortz, Clark Howard and George Noory. Emmis owns the translator, which is Austin-licensed K259AJ at 99.7. Get a look at its signal coverage from the FCC map. There’s a conversation about the new FM signal for KLBJ-AM on the San Antonio/Austin Board of Radio-Info.com.
