Bayliss Foundation's latest charity fundraiser – an online auction of broadcast and other equipment
Commercial auction site Rasmus says – “As a result of generous donations from the nation’s largest radio companies, vendors and organizations, Rasmus is hosting a benefit auction of 100’s of items of new and previously owned radio/television equipment and technology assets.” The proceeds help underwrite the charitable work of the Bayliss Foundation, which funds scholarships for future broadcasters. In 2008 the group awarded $55,000 in financial aid to 11 students. There’s all kinds of equipment listed for sale on the Rasmus site, here.
