Beasley says Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and Ft. Myers were stars in Q2
The Coastal Carolina operations were also up over the same three months of 2009, helping Beasley Broadcast Group produce 6.6% higher same-station revenues for the quarter. Markets such as Miami were a drag, as Beasley reports a similar story to many other publicly-traded groups: higher national revenue, while local revenue is trailing. Interactive revenue jumped 19%. Founder, Chairman and CEO George Beasley says the company continues to “remain vigilant” about expenses and to pay down its debt. Net revenue grew from $23.6 million to $24.9 million and station operating income rose from $6.7 million to $8.5 million. Income per share improved from 3 cents to 9 cents. Read the latest report from Beasley here.
