Bennett Zier to manage the Norfolk cluster for Entercom
Zier succeeds Jeff Brown, who is now managing stations for Entercom in Portland, Oregon. Zier's bio includes being EVP of the Clear Channel stations in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, the founding CEO of Dan Snyder-led Red Zebra Broadcasting in the D.C. area, and an executive for CBS in Boston and New York. He was also once the CEO of Air America Radio. Zier is currently the Executive VP of iHigh.com, which provides video tools and streaming to high schools, especially for their sports activities. Weezie Kramer is Entercom's regional VP for the group that includes the Norfolk cluster of AC "2WD" WWDE, modern AC "Point 94.9" WPTE, rhythmic "Z104" WNVZ and urban AC "95.7 R&B FM" WVKL. Consultant and station owner Jack Taddeo has been interim market manager in Norfolk since Jeff Brown packed up for Portland last Fall.
