British comedian-actor Russell Brand is being pursued by Sirius XM
Brand stars in the current “Get Him to the Greek” hit movie and was recently featured on the cover of Rolling Stone. Now the UK Sun newspaper says “Sirius Radio has been chasing him for months with chequebook at the ready.” The highly-rated BBC Radio team of Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross was broken up two years ago in the wake of the “Sachsgate” controversy, involving a lewd phone call to a beloved British actor. Now the Sun says “Russell is plotting how to slip a new [radio] show into his hectic diary.” It quotes a friend saying “He has been off doing other things, but radio is the one thing that still really tickles him.” And at Sirius XM – there would be no problem with language or censors.
