Bruce Gilbert resigns as CEO of Red Zebra to take over KRLD-AM/FM, Dallas
CEO Bruce Gilbert is leaving the Dan Snyder-controlled regional sports broadcasting operation after three years, he tells his staff at a 3pm meeting. He’ll take the job of VP of News, Talk and Sports Programming, overseeing CBS Radio’s news/talk KRLD-AM (1080) and sports “Fan” KRLD-FM (105.3) in Dallas. Current “Fan” programmer Tom Bigby will resume his corporate role as VP of Strategic Programming, and Kurt Johnson will focus on the music stations. Johnson has also carried programming responsibilities for KRLD-AM. The Dallas Board of Radio-Info talks about Gilbert and the change at the Fan, here.
