Bubba the Love Sponge attacked, later sent home from TNA Wrestling after an "F--- Haiti" Twitter
The professional wrestling insider magazine “Wrestling Inc.” posted the message that syndicated Tampa-based talker Bubba The Love Sponge was “told by TNA management to stay home over the weekend and not to attend the TNA production meetings” following a Twitter message he sent that stated “I say f—k Hati. Why do we have to take care of everybody, our country is in shambles?” In addition to his message, a professional wrestler may have sent their own kid of message, when a female wrestler known as “Awesome Kong” physically attacked Bubba backstage for his Haiti comments. Bubba then offered a retraction and apology on Twitter, writing, “that being said I would like to apologize for my comments regarding Haiti. in the world of live radio that I operate, Sometimes u say things that u can’t take back. So I'm man enough now to say I'm sorry for those I offended.”
