Canada's Bohn & Associates merges with the U.S. SparkNet Communications
They've been working together on the spread of the classic hits “Jack FM” and “Playing what we want” concept. The new company will be directed by Vancouver-based Pat Bohn and Garry Wall and will take the SparkNet name. Bohn & Associates was founded in 1985 and has been involved with Toronto’s AC CHFI (98.1) and “680 News” CFTR, as well as adult contemporary “Q92” CFQR in Montreal and “Jack FM.” SparkNet will continue to “serve and advocate for the interests of Canadian broadcasters and the music industry”, says the company. It will still license “Jack FM” and do marketing and consulting, and just recently it signed a deal with Radio Express to rep the brand in 25 countries.
