Newfoundland Capital Corporation gets government approval to buy CTV Limited's 50% stake in Metro Radio Group ... That's not your typical DJ behind the mic on CFCW-AM (790) in Edmonton. Ed Stelmach, Alberta Province's elected Premier, will host a 1-hour show next week ... Sydney, Nova Scotia's CHRK-FM (101.9) tweaked their format, calling it "The Giant" and playing hits from the 80's & 90's ... CJXY-FM (107.9) in Burlington, Ontario will carry Hamilton Tiger Cats football when the season starts in June ...
