CBS delays the launch of Washington DC's "News 99.1"
The problem is "engineering issues", according to the Washington Post's Paul Farhi. The DCRTV.com site reports the Post Tweet, and the push-back from 5am Thursday morning (January 19) to next Monday, January 23. CBS Radio has been building new studios and training its newly-hired staff, as it aims at the market's top-billing station: Hubbard's all-news WTOP (103.5 and various simulcast frequencies).
