CBS Phoenix Taps Crystal Cardenas For Marketing and Promotion
Cardenas joins CBS Radio’s Phoenix cluster as director of marketing and promotion, effective Aug. 9. She will handle those duties for country KMLE-FM, oldies KOOL-FM, and rhythmic CHR KZON-FM. She arrives from restaurant franchising company Kahala, where she has worked for four years. Cardenas most recently held the position of director of marketing, overseeing the company’s strategic alliances department, and led co-brand initiatives for the Cold Stone Creamery brand. Prior to joining Kahala, Cardenas worked for two years as the Phoenix marketing manager for BFG Communications overseeing the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco account. In this role, she planned and executed branded Camel cigarette events at venues throughout Phoenix and Las Vegas.
