CBS Radio grabs the rights to “Fresh”
According to this morning’s Taylor on Radio-Info, it’s acquiring the trademark from MRH Marketing and Greg Dunkin, who helped launch CBS Radio’s “Fresh” WTGB (94.7) Washington D.C. back in March. With “Fresh” in house, the CBS Trademarks Department is handling licensing for stations. The contact is Lauren Marcello at 212-975-3263 and Lauren.Marcello@cbs.com. TRI also reports, “Dunkin had spread ‘Fresh’ beyond AC to new destinations like country radio – and no doubt CBS sees broader possibilities.“ CBS operates ‘Fresh’ AC stations in New York (WWFS at 102.7) and Chicago (WCFS at 105.9).
