CBS Radio hires Sammy Simpson for New York duties
Just a day a few days after announcing his departure from Bonneville’s Los Angeles outlet “The Sound” KSWD, Sammy Simpson makes the move to New York. He’ll be CBS Radio’s Director of Integrated Marketing for its six stations in the city: WINS, WCBS-AM, WFAN, WCBS-FM, WWFS, and WXRK. Simpson left Bonnevlle after 13 years with the company, where he served as National Director of Marketing and Promotion, among other titles. CBS Radio New York Director of Sales Jennifer Donohue says “Sammy’s solid background building concerts and events, and integrating listener experiences on-air, on-site and digitally into compelling sales opportunities for clients, is exactly what we’re looking for to help grow our presence in the market.”
