CBS Radio Houston changes – on air and off
The changes are happening at both the recently acquired KHMX, as well as those CBS has owned for years. This morning’s Taylor On Radio-Info confirms that KILT (610) PD and Houston Texans Radio Network programmer Bill Van Rysdam is out, along with KHMX “Mix 96.5” morning man (and former PD) Keith Scott. Also: CHR KKHH “Hot 95.7” pm driver Dave Morales moves over to Mix for the same shift. Kaden, who was last at CBS Radio’s former KMVK “Movin 107.5” Dallas (before it flipped to Spanish) arrives to take on the “Hot 95.7" afternoon drive shift. Lastly, the Chronicle’s David Barron says country KILT-FM (100.3) will go commercial-free on weekday mornings from 8:45 to 10:45. It’s looking for a new tool to compete with Cox Radio’s country KKBQ (92.9). The Radio-Info.com boards have been discussing the changes here:
