CC Nashville ops manager Michael Bryan takes WSIX PD reins
Newly minted Clear Channel Nashville Operations Manager Michael Bryan takes the PD reins for iconic country WSIX (The Big 98) Nashville as part of his duties. That creates an opening for his previous post as PD at sister top 40 WRVW (107.5 The River). Current WSIX PD Jon Anthony exits to focus on his role as Managing Partner of Kenny Chesney’s online “No Shoes Radio,” which premiered in August 2009. Bryan, who just arrived in Nashville this month, oversees the company’s five outlets in the market—WSIX, WRVW, urban WUBT (101.1 The Beat), classic rock WNRQ (The Rock 105.9) and talk WLAC-AM—after five years as Digital PD for CC Orlando and PD of CHR WXXL (XL 106.7).Previous and Next Stories
