Charlotte welcomes more than just the NAB this week
On Tuesday morning at 6 a.m., Norsan Broadcasting launches Spanish WGSP-FM "La Tremenda FM", and Norsan owner Norberto Sanchez also debuts a local Spanish-language newspaper in the market, "Hola Noticias," to coincide. The company has a very successful radio-newspaper combo in Jacksonville, Fla., as well. The new WGSP-FM compliments two other properties Norsan owns in Charlotte: WGSP-AM "La Tremenda 1310" and WXNC-AM "Latino Hits."
