Chattanooga's new top 40 is WDOD "The Mountain"

As predicted here at Radio-Info.com last week, Triple-A WDOD (96.5) Chattanooga flipped to Top 40 this morning at 10 am, kicking off the new format with Kanye West's "Stronger" - referring to the fact that this is the market's first 100-kw, class C mainstream top 40 outlet. Prior to the West song, the station ran a mini-country format as "Super Country 96" just to shake things up, but then launched into a montage of former Chattanooga CHRs like KZ 106, B103, Star 98, and others. WDOD will keep the moniker "The Mountain," but will have a new on air line-up including the syndicated Kidd Kraddick morning show, then Victoria in midday, Jason Walker and Brad Stewart to split the afternoon shift, Sean Stewart at night and Romeo's Playhouse in overnights.
