Chicago radio's Chet Coppock is suspended for an anti-semitic remark
WMVP-AM (1000) suspends talk show host Chet Coppack for making an anti-Semitic slur on his weekend show. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that during a recent show, Coppack was asked how to spell the word "Jewish." Coppock replied "Money. M-o-n-e-y." He was immediately suspended for 2 weeks by WMVP management. Coppock issued a statement saying "I made an offensive comment I truly regret." It was almost one year to the day when the 6-foot 10-inch Coppock was attacked outside of a college basketball game. See the WBBM-TV report of the Coppock attack by clicking here.
