Chicago talk host to hold his own "Town Hall" style meeting
Following the news that Illinois Senator Richard Durbin has decided not to hold a “Town Hall” meeting, Chicago’s Salem Communications-owned WIND-AM (560) morning talk host Cisco Cotto has picked up that gauntlet. The conservative Cotto announced he will hold his own Town Hall meeting, directly outside of Durban’s Chicago office this weekend. Cotto says, “The people Dick Durbin represents deserve to be heard before he votes on such a radical change to our health care.” Cotto has recently made political news of his own, announcing he may run for the controversial US Senate seat that will be vacated by Roland Burris when his term expires.
