Chicago's "True Oldies" WLS-FM cuts Brant Miller from mornings
Brant Miller is a well-known name in Chicago radio circles, first as a DJ with WLS-AM (890) in the 1970s before joining WLS-FM (94.7) in the 1980s. Miller was dropped from the “True Oldies” morning show, and Vocalo.org’s Robert Feder says the reason was budget cuts, as his contract was not renewed (although it runs through April). Replacing Miller for the time being is part-timer Tom O’Toole, with a permanent replacement expected to be named soon. Miller will keep his other job – that as chief meteorologist on WMAQ-TV – Discuss it.
