Chicago's Ty Bentli is leaving KISS-FM for Los Angeles
He’s the #1 rated afternoon drive host (Arbitron PPM June 2010 18-34 demos) on the #1 rated radio station in the Windy City. Ty Bentli is leaving Clear Channel’s top 40 WKSC-FM (103.5) and will move to Los Angeles, where he will join one of Clear Channel’s radio stations in the City of Angels. The Chicago Sun-Times says Bentli will leave KISS-FM, where he’s been since 2006, after a nationwide search for his successor is complete. Clear Channel has not said which station Bentli will join. The nation’s group has eight stations in the Los Angeles market, including CHR-formatted KIIS-FM (102.7). The Chicago Board of Radio-Info picks up the story about Ty Bentli, here.
