Chicago's WGN (720) is looking for a news director, as Charlie Meyerson exits
Meyerson was hired by former WGN program director Kevin Metheny in July 2009, coming back to radio after 11 years at ChicagoTribune.com. Before that, Meyerson had worked in Chicago radio at adult alternative WXRT (93.1) and then-smooth jazz WNUA (95.5). Bill White is now programming Tribune talker WGN, and he will serve as Director of News & Programming while the search for a news director gets underway.
