Chris Baker returns to Houston's "Mojo 950"
After several days of rumors, Clear Channel Houston Market Manager Eddie Martiny announced the return of Chris Baker to Houston, on Talk KPRC “950 Radio Mojo”. He will host the afternoon shift from 3 – 5pm, starting March 2. That will move pm driver Joe “Pags” Pagliarulo to mornings to host “Your morning cup of Joe” from 6 – 9am. Current morning team Walton and Johnson are headed over to co-owned “The Arrow” KKRW (93.7) to fill the vacant morning show slot, now that Steve Fix and Suzie Hanks are out. “Chris has a lot of fans in Houston, and he’s incredibly talented. We are excited to bring him back to Houston, back to the same station and time slot in which he began on-air over eight years ago,” said Michael Berry, Operations Director for Clear Channel Radio Houston’s AM stations.
