The holiday spirit is spreading around the nation, as stations in Iowa,Wisconsin and New York have either flipped to Christmas music or said that holiday songs are on their way. In Ames, Iowa, KLTI-FM "Lite" (104.1) has put aside AC music for holiday songs for just one evening on November 4, but went back to playing "Lite Rock with a lot Less Talk," saying they will play more Christmas music this coming weekend, and later this month will go all-Christmas. Other stations in Iowa that said Christmas music is on its way is KMXG-FM (96.1) in Clinton, who says they will flip to Christmas on November 20. In Whiting, Wisconsin, WLJY-FM (96.7) is now "The Christmas Mix" online, but is still playing the hits of "The 80's, 90's and Now" for now. Last week, Buffalo, New York had no stations playing Christmas music, and this week they now have two. Townsquare Media's WJYE-FM "Joy" (96.1) went to holiday songs, as did rival Entercom's WTSS-FM "Star" (102.5). Previous and Next Stories
