Cincinnati native Mike Kenney returns to the market, to manage for Cumulus
Kenney has recently been in charge of the Cumulus cluster in Lexington, KY, and now makes the one-hour journey north to take over the five-FM cluster that includes classic hits WGRR (103.5) and "96 Rock" WFTK. Kenney previously managed in Cincinnati for Jacor and Clear Channel, starting with Jacor in 1994 and staying through 2006. He has also managed in Nashville, Dallas, San Diego, Cleveland and Charlotte. He started with Cumulus last year, in Lexington-Fayette. Cumulus COO Jon Pinch says "Mike has done an outstanding job growing our Lexington business, and his return to Cincinnati makes good sense for him and for Cumulus.
