Citadel's Chicago talker WLS-AM makes a pre-Rush lineup change
Cisco Cotto is out of the 9-11am weekday shift, replaced by Bruce Wolf and Dan Proft. GM Michael Damsky says adding the team of a sportscaster (Wolf) and former gubernatorial candidate (Proft) "turns up the excitement level” in that daypart. They previously hosted the "Hate Saturday" weekend show, and now they'll be moved up between Don Wade and Roma in mornings and Rush Limbaugh. Cotto previously worked in the market at the former WMAQ radio and WIND. He found out the news just after this morning's show, says Robert Feder at Time Out Chicago. On the Chicago Board of Radio-Info.com, they're talking about WLS, here.
