While his image and bio remain on the website of Detroit CHR WKQI-FM (95.5), the now-former APD/Afternoon drive host on "Channel 955" has a different story on his Facebook page. Beau Daniels writes, "I was informed today that my contract will not be renewed. As of June 24th, I am a free agent. I was also informed in the meeting by the GM and PD that this was not a performance based issue as I've been a top-two performer in demo for the past eight years. It has been a great run at Channel-955." Radio-Info contacted WKQI, but was told they do not comment on past or current personnel.
