Clear Channel makes programming dept. changes in San Francisco
It's a consolidation of management, with Clear Channel Sacramento operations manager Alan Eisenson adding more duties. In San Francisco, he takes over as PD of two talk outlets, news/talk KNEW-AM (910) & progressive talker KKGN-AM "Green" (960). He replaces Ricci Filiar, who was holding down the job on an interim basis. Filiar stays with the company and is named PD of Classic Rock KKSF-FM (103.7), replacing Dave Logan. Filiar continues to oversee operations on KISQ-FM (98.1). Eisenson, who will oversee all operations from Sacramento, says, "This is an exciting opportunity, and working with Don Parker, Dave Pugh and Jeff Holden to leverage the success of the Armstrong & Getty show on a regional level, is a huge platform from which to grow." Eisenson's career in news/talk includes stops in New York on the former WEVD, and in Memphis and Las Vegas.
