Clear Channel names John Peake as its new Seattle cluster OM
John Peake moves from the Arizona desert to the Pacific Northwest, in an organizational move for the Seattle cluster. Peake, who was the director of the syndicated Johnjay & Rich morning show, takes over as Operations Manager in Seattle starting March 14. He's replacing Shellie Hart, who remains with Clear Channel. Seattle Market Manager Michele Grosenick says, "Shellie will relinquish her OM duties but will retain her important on-air KUBE duties as well as her programming duties for KNBQ and KSGX. All programmers will work closely with John, including Shellie." Peake will become PD of "Oldies 95.7" KJR-FM, as well as be OM for KJR-AM (950), sports KHHO-AM (850), CHR KUBE-FM (93.3), country KNBQ-FM (102.9), KSGX-FM (104.9) and KBKS-FM "Kiss" (106.1).
