Clear Channel re-formats and re-images San Francisco AMs at 910 and 960
Progressive-talk "Green 960" KKGN is changing to "Fox News Radio" and assuming the KNEW call letters currently on 910. Progressive talker Randi Rhodes will continue to be heard on 960 (from noon to 3pm), and as of January she will be joined by Glenn Beck, Dave Ramsey and John Gibson (moving over from 910). Clear Channel will continue to offer KKGN online and on the HD2 channel of "Oldies 103.7" KKSF. KKGN will be billed as "FM Progressive Talk" and feature Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Norman Goldman and Randi Rhodes. Back at 910, the station that has been known as KNEW: It keeps KSTE-Sacramento-based Armstrong & Getty in mornings, followed by Clark Howard, Tom Sullivan and an unnamed local host in PM drive. Its new call letters: KKSF, echoing those of KKSF-FM (103.7)
