Could Ryan Seacrest be considering a jump to CBS?
There are a number of Ryan Seacrest rumors, and the latest scenario comes from LARadio.com, which spotted Seacrest at a Lakers basketball game chatting with CBS president/CEO Les Moonves. Seacrest’s current deal with Clear Channel’s KIIS-FM (102.7) in Los Angeles expires in November, and this could open the door for Seacrest to bolt to CBS for the right offer. That could include a daytime TV talk show, and even a move to a CBS Radio-owned Los Angeles radio station. TV talk is something Seacrest tried and failed to achieve success with when Fox put him on the air for five months in 2004. Now, with Oprah leaving daytime TV in 2011, the door is open for a successor. LARadio speculates further, saying “If the TV deal became reality for Ryan and CBS, he would also bring his morning radio show, his syndicated program, along with his countdown shows."
